A very good quality, mahogany campaign desk. It has a solid mahogany carcass with panelled sides and back as well as a detachable folding gallery.

It has two slides with inset leather. The drawers have brass inset handles and run very smoothly. The leather inset is a rich burgundy with gold tooling.

The kneehole is very generous in size and is very comfortable to sit at. It detaches into three sections.

An oak campaign desk, Circa 1880.
It is of solid oak construction, and has pine drawer linings. It has a very good colour and patination, and bears the marks and knocks of a well-travelled piece.
It has solid brass, ring handles and a folding gallery. The inset is a rich burgundy colour with a faded gold tooling. I believe it to be the original, so it is well-used.
The whole desk dismantles and is easy to transport.

The top is crossbanded and has a green leather insert. It has a deep golden colour and separates into three sections.
